Cake Class with Sweet Crumb Cakery!

Owner, Erika Belalcazar, Will be teaching a festive and beautiful Reindeer cake decorating workshop! She will share Sweet Crumb Cakery’s Simple Vanilla Buttercream recipe and demonstrates all the techniques, so you can make your cakes look as wonderful as they taste. If you are a novice decorator, Erika will teach you to fill, stack and crumb coat your cake layers like a professional. Then learn the secrets for a smooth buttercream finish and learn to style with holiday themed fresh florals, gold acrylic antlers cake topper and a red fondant nose. Don’t miss out on this fun and festive class!

What you'll learn:

  • The varieties and basics about buttercream

  • Cake decorating equipment & tools

  • Holiday fresh Florals, Antlers gold topper, fondant nose

  • Coloring buttercream with gel food colors

  • Stack and fill a cake with buttercream

What will be provided?

  • Cake decorating equipment, recipe, tools, cakes, buttercream and apron (for workshop use only)

You will take home:

  • Your beautifully frosted and decorated 6” cake

  • Resources to continue your cake journey at home

What to wear?

We will be supplying a full­-length apron for class but wear comfy clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little Buttercream on! :)
